All About the Inn
Lisa Morehouse and Jeff Bell took over the Inn at Stockbridge in May of 2013 – but the Inn's story began well before that. A classic Georgian-style mansion built in 1906 as a private residence, the Inn was transformed with a restoration in 1982. In 1997, the Cottage House was built, followed by the Barn in 2001.
Today, the Main House remains the centerpiece of this little slice of heaven in the Berkshires, where guests can enjoy all of our wonderful amenities, including a wine and cheese reception held at 4:30 pm daily, library filled with the classics and a turntable complete with Lisa's extensive record collection, sun-filled game and media room, and dining room, filled with the smells of fresh-baked cookies and snacks.
From the Norman Rockwell Museum to other quintessential attractions and outings in the Berkshires, we're minutes from the best of what the region has to offer.
If you're looking to enjoy a night of music at Tanglewood, the Inn at Stockbridge tops the list for Lenox lodging options. During a visit, don't forget to stroll downtown Stockbridge, just a mile from the Inn, for a day of shopping followed by a farm-to-table meal. And as you explore the Berkshires, enjoy a hike, game of golf, or one of the many other year-round outdoor activities the region offers.
