The Main House is the showpiece of our 1906 estate.
Checking in? Ring the doorbell and come on in! As you enter, we will be on hand to show you around the Main House and get you settled in your room. We aspire to a elegant, yet relaxed and "un-stuffy" atmosphere.
You will enter into our formal living room, graced by an original wood-burning fireplace and a baby grand piano. Our wine and cheese reception is held here at 4:30 every day.
To the right is our library, filled with comfy chairs in front of the gas fireplace. A new addition is the turntable and Lisa's large and eclectic record collection, available to browse and play. This is a great place to relax with one of the classic books from the bookshelves and step back in time!
Continue on to explore what was formerly the side porch of the house, which was enclosed to form a game and media room. This room is wonderful on sunny days. Feel free to browse the CDs and DVDs in the armoire or print your boarding pass on the computer. A variey of games are also available for you to enjoy.
Back at the front door, if you turn left you will enter the dining room, where breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:00 am. This is also the place to get a snack in the evening or when that hunger pang strikes! Home-baked cookies and snacks are available round the clock, as well as coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Continue through the swinging door to the butler's pantry if you need to refill your ice bucket or make use of the refrigerator available for guest use.
Need something? Lisa, Jeff, Tamara or Siobhan are always around to help until 7pm. After that, we provide a cell phone number that is strictly for guest use during their stay. Don't hesitate to call us!
