Once Upon a Table

The Red Lion Inn
The Red Lion Inn has developed a reputation for outstanding food and genuine New England hospitality. Those traditions are continued today by Executive Chef Brian J. Café Adam
Café Adam offers a varied dinner menu featuring local produce and both classical and modern cooking techniques. Prairie Whale
Brooklyn restaurant pioneer Mark Firth brings the same rustic delicious food served at his previous restaurants -- Diner and Marlow & Sons -- to the Berkshires. Chez Nous
A casual bistro in the Berkshires. Joe's Diner
Everything you can expect from a diner; small and cozy with plenty of memorabilia to occupy the mind.  This famous local destination was the inspiration for Norman Rockwell's "The Runaway."  Very friendly atmosphere, however it is not very big inside so space is very limited.  Add this to your must see if you visited the Norman Rockwell museum and want to grab a quick bite to eat.  Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Tratoria Rustica
Owner-chef Davide Manzo's culinary skill is reflected in the bread and mozzarella he makes fresh each day, in the inspired use of spices, the freshness of his produce, the tender cuts of meat, and exotic fish he serves.  Brick walls, tile floors, hand-painted dishes, lanterns, and an exposed kitchen where classic southern Italian dishes are prepared, combine to create a warm, intimate setting.  Serving dinner only.

Local boys through and through – from Lanesborough, owners Joe Renzi and Mark Ferdyn opened Relish June 2013.  They teamed up to bring serious and affordable fare across from City Hall and near other downtown businesses.  They cut, smoke, and prep all their meats onsite.  Lunch best seller is the "knuckle sandwich" shaved beef with melted cheese and caramelized onions!  Serving breakfast and lunch.

John Andrews
Specializes in regional American cuisine with an emphasis on local fresh and seasonal ingredients and Italian regional influences.  The food is crafted by Chef-owner Dan Smith, Sous Chef Nathan Turner and their team, and highlights farms and food artisans in the Berkshires, Hudson Valley and Northwestern Connecticut.  In 2013, the restaurant was named World's 25 Best Farmstead Experiences in The Daily Meal – the fastest-growing food site on the web.  Serving dinner only.

The Old Mill
