Sisters Enjoy Time Together at The Inn at Stockbridge

Alice & Len Schiller, owner/innkeepers of the Inn at Stockbridge feel that it is an honor to have loyal repeat guests choose to spend their precious time together at the Inn. Patty Fogelstrom and Debbie Perno started coming to the Inn in October 2001. Patty lives in Ct and Debbie lives in Corrales New Mexico. Patty & Debbie first came to the Inn as a gift from Patty's husband Bruce. Patty was recently diagnosed at that time with a rare blood cancer. Each year that Patty and Debbie return to the Inn is a continued celebration of life. They come to the inn each year looking to have a wonderful time together and to celebrate a new year of survival. While at the Inn Patti & Debbie enjoyed massages and wonderful restaurants. They conclude their stay with a dinner at The Red lion Inn where they enjoy the popovers. Debbie played golf at Greenock Country Club in the brisk autumn air. One would never know the amount of pain Patty is in. She thanks her children Bryan & Christie for their constant support as well as her devoted husband Bruce. Debbie visits Patty in the spring and fall each year and the sisters look forward to their special time together.
Debbie & her husband Tony own Case Work Technologies in New Mexico. Patty's husband Bruce owns Last Mile Communications, a consulting company for cable companies. Bruce is fortunate enough to work from home to be there for Patty.
Its our sincere pleasure to spend time with Patty & Debbie and to share in their journey. We plan to see them the same time next year

Mothers Day at the Inn at Stockbridge

Alice & Len Schiller, owners of the Inn at Stockbridge, an elegant Inn of 16 guest rooms located in Stockbridge, heart of the Berkshires, are thrilled that their daughters Ilana & Felicia along with their husbands Don & Moty joined them to celebrate Mothers day. It is also a wonderful time to celebrate Alice's birthday which was earlier in the week.
Alice is thrilled that her daughters and their husbands are thoughtful, caring loving. "Always a mom, who is there for me and cares about the big and little happenings in my life, someone whose advise makes decisions easier, whose concern lets me know she cares and whose love is appreciated every day."
Don & Ilana joined Alice as they visited the Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge for their annual plant sale. It goes without saying that they made purchases of beautiful annuals and perennials for the Inn.
Breakfast in the beautiful dining room was enjoyed by all. Baked eggs with havarti & dill, glorious morning muffins and a fresh fruit salad along with the best Ethiopian yirgacheffe coffee was enjoyed by all. It was lovingly prepared by Sandra MacDonald, resident manager with the assistance of Edith Morales, head housekeeper and breakfast server.

Artist, Norman Rockwell & The Inn at Stockbridge

It was a great thrill to have artist illustrator Enido Michelini, his wife Wilma and daughter Vanessa visit the Inn last week. Enido has been a great admirer of Norman Rockwell for many years. Enido started his career as an illustrator in in his native Brazil. Enido has had a Norman Rockwell book published in 1971 that he has admired over the years and has always wanted to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum. As a gift to her father, Enido's daughter Vanessa surprised her father with a birthday gift to the Inn. The family visited the museum and it lived up to all their expectations. The family now resides in Florida and Enido continues to be an artist and has his works displayed in several galleries.

A BabyMoon at The Inn at Stockbridge that Started in Camp Lenox

Jeremy & Victoria Traster met at camp Lenox in the Berkshires in 1998. Both Jeremy and Victoria had a great fondness for the Berkshires that started in 1993 when Jeremy first attended camp there. Jeremy continued going to the camp that he loved so much and became a counselor there in 1996. It was by divine intervention that Victoria became a counselor there in 1998.
Victoria came from Lincolnshire England to be a counselor at Camp Lenox at the recommendation of a friend who was a counselor the previous year. Jeremy and Victoria met at camp the first year. They stayed in touch throughout the year when Victoria went back to England for her studies. Both Jeremy and Victoria returned to camp the next two summers and continued their studies during the year, Victoria at Liverpool
University and Jeremy at the University of Pennsylvania.
After college Victoria moved to Washington DC where she was a nanny and then moved to Philedelphia to be with Jeremy. The couple went back to London so Victoria could attend graduate school. Jeremy and Victoria then returned to the states and Jeremy attended Law School at Seton Hall University and Victoria attended NYU for education.
Jeremy and Victoria finally tied the knot on January 8, 2005. Jeremy is now a lawyer with Cahill & Gorden and Victoria is a teaching artist with the New Victoria Theater.
Jeremy and Victoria came to the Inn at Stockbridge for a babymoon and to celebrate their fourth anniversary. They are expecting thir first child in March. Jeremy and Victoria live in Brooklyn with their dog Charlie, a Cavachon.
Jeremy has a bit of trivia to share about Joe's diner. While a camper at Camp Lenox he frequently went to Joes diner and always ordered the same sandwich, which Joe named a JT special. The JT special is chicken cutlet, cheddar cheese, hot peppers, lettuce and russian dressing on a hard roll.
Alice & Len Schiller are thrilled that Jeremy and Victoria chose the Inn at Stockbridge to celebrate their babymoon and anniversary. We know they will be wonderful parents and hope that their children continue to go to camp Lenox and they visit us again soon.
