They always have a smile on their face and are pleased to be at your service.
In the other photo Alice, Len and Sandra, our resident manager are photoed with the staff.
It takes a team effort to assure prompt courteous service, good food, clean rooms and the wonderful surroundings that we deliver at the Inn at Stockbridge.
We are very grateful to have such a wonderful team which is at you service. Please visit the Inn and see for yourself.

Mothers Day at the Inn at Stockbridge

Alice & Len Schiller, owners of the Inn at Stockbridge, an elegant Inn of 16 guest rooms located in Stockbridge, heart of the Berkshires, are thrilled that their daughters Ilana & Felicia along with their husbands Don & Moty joined them to celebrate Mothers day. It is also a wonderful time to celebrate Alice's birthday which was earlier in the week.
Alice is thrilled that her daughters and their husbands are thoughtful, caring loving. "Always a mom, who is there for me and cares about the big and little happenings in my life, someone whose advise makes decisions easier, whose concern lets me know she cares and whose love is appreciated every day."
Don & Ilana joined Alice as they visited the Berkshire Botanical Garden in Stockbridge for their annual plant sale. It goes without saying that they made purchases of beautiful annuals and perennials for the Inn.
Breakfast in the beautiful dining room was enjoyed by all. Baked eggs with havarti & dill, glorious morning muffins and a fresh fruit salad along with the best Ethiopian yirgacheffe coffee was enjoyed by all. It was lovingly prepared by Sandra MacDonald, resident manager with the assistance of Edith Morales, head housekeeper and breakfast server.

Meet Sandra Resident Manager at The Inn at Stockbridge

Sandra MacDonald is the resident manager here at the Inn at Stockbridge. Originally from Seattle, by the time she was 21, she was co-managing a 52 unit renovated high-rise residential/commercial apartment building with a 4 star Italian restaurant, and was the office manager for a successful renovation company in downtown Seattle.

After working a number of years in the real estate business, owning and managing several homes and rental properties, she enjoys creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for others to feel at ease and have the pleasure of relaxing. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know people and finding out about their life stories.

In growing up with her mom in the restaurant business for over 40 years, through a bit of osmosis and a little elbow grease, Sandra has become pretty creative in the kitchen as well and now specializes in gourmet vegetarian cuisine. She makes a scrumptious vanilla-orange liquor French toast and brandied fruit compote that will undoubtedly put a smile on your face and make you feel glad you didn't miss breakfast!

Aside from creating beautiful environments, whipping up something special in the kitchen and hosting guests, Sandra enjoys being involved in the Berkshire community and working with a group called Volunteers for Change. She enjoys the outdoors and loves to go biking, hiking, swimming and tending gardens. She enjoys reading an Edgar Allen Poe poem by a crackling fire in the fall, or a romantic and spiritual poem by Rumi any time of the year.

Some of her favorite childhood memories are picnicking and hiking at Mt. Rainier with family and friends, camping in and around the Puget Sound and Eastern Washington areas, and attending the Scottish Highland games to compete in the Scottish Highland Dance competitions. Her studies include interior design, business, Holacracy, Feng Shui, and holistic therapies.
