What is Check In/Check Out Time?

Check In is at 3 pm and Check Out is 11 am. The main house is open for check-ins until 6 pm, but if you arrive later that is no problem we provide you with all the door codes and property maps for an easy self-check-in.

What is Your Pet Policy?

We allow Dogs in our 4 Suites in the Cottage (Provence, Greek Isles, Kashmir & Out of Africa) and 4 Suites in the Barn (Shakespeare, Wharton, Rockwell & Melville). There is a $40/per night fee. We love cats, but unfortunately do not allow them at the Inn.

Do you have wifi?

Yes, we have complimentary wifi on property.

Do you have parking?

Yes! We have plenty of complimentary parking on property.

Do you have breakfast?

Yes, we offer a complimentary full hot breakfast daily from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Each day will feature a breakfast special, or you can always order eggs, toast, and yogurt/fruit parfait.

Breakfast hours on Weekdays in the Winter/Spring may be 9am to 10am but guests will be informed in advance.

Do you serve lunch or dinner?

We do not serve lunch or dinner but have many nearby recommendations.

Do you allow children?

Absolutely! We allow children of all ages. Children 5 years and under stay for free. The Cottage Suites and Barn Suites as well as Fox Den in the Main House are best suited for families.

Is smoking allowed at the inn?

No, smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

Can more than 2 people stay in a room?

Yes, there is an additional person charge of $50 per person per day (child under 5 years old stay free). Prior notice is necessary to place a twin airbed in the room or we can make up a sofa bed (Rockwell or Melville only). We can only accommodate an extra person in The Cottage Suites and the Barn Suites. Fox Den room can accommodate 4 people at no additional charge.

Do you offer any snacks or beverages throughout the day?

Yes, we offer granola bars, homemade cookies, and pretzels in the dining room, as well as water, soda, seltzer, coffee, tea, and hot cocoa.

What amenities do you have?

The Fitness Center is open 24/7 but please be quiet during the hours between 10 pm & 9 am. We have a heated outdoor pool that is open seasonally. We also have a massage room where you can book massages.

What are the taxes and fees?

An 11.7% state and local tax, as well as a 5% service fee, are applied to the daily room rates.

What is your cancelation policy?

Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation leaves us little chance of filling the reserved space. For this reason, the Inn maintains a strict cancellation policy.

Full payment is required for a one-night stay. A one night deposit is required for all other stays. Deposits will be refunded only if notice of cancellation is received 14 days prior to the intended date of arrival, and 21 days for bookings in July & August.

For cancellations of 14 days or less (30 days from July 1st & October 31st) guest is responsible for the full value of reservation as reserved. Guests who arrive after their intended arrival date or check out before their intended departure date are responsible for the days reserved in full.
