If you're seeking a quiet Berkshires vacation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our Barn Suites are the perfect place to stay in Stockbridge. Each of the four Barn Suites at our Berkshires Inn are named after famous artists and historic sites to celebrate the region's rich history.
Each of the Barn Suites has a gas fireplace, cozy sitting area, and a Double Whirlpool Jacuzzi Tub so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity of the Berkshires. The Barn also houses our fitness center, and guests are invited to enjoy a home-cooked breakfast each morning in the Main House.
- The Rockwell Suite is dedicated to Norman Rockwell, a 20th-century American painter, author, and illustrator whose artistic legacy is preserved at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA. The room, with a bright feel, features an additional sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, and deck.
- The Shaker Suite is a tribute to the Hancock Shaker Village, which operates as a living-history museum dedicated to preserving the Shaker Community that flourished in the late 18th century. The room features a 4-post bed, antique-style standing mirror, fireplace and a loveseat that opens into a twin bed.
- The Wharton Suite was designed as an ode to Edith Wharton, the first women to win a Pulitzer Prize for fiction. She lived in Lenox, Massachusetts at The Mount estate for ten years in order to focus on her writing away from city life. The room itself is decorated with Wainscoting, flowers and dark blues for a serene getaway.
- The Shakespeare Suite celebrates Shakespeare & Company, a Berkshires theater group offering classical performances that embrace Shakespearean values. With lovely mint-green walls, this room features a vanity and two-person Jacuzzi tub, fireplace with sitting area, and terrace.
